About This Collection
Printed Sarees — Everyday Elegance, Endless Variety
Not every saree day calls for handwoven heritage. Some days you just want something pretty, easy, lightweight, and ready-to-wear — a saree that drapes itself, photographs well, and doesn't need a special occasion to justify itself. Our Printed Sarees collection is built for exactly that. Over 70 carefully chosen pieces in modern prints, contemporary colors, and easy fabrics — sarees you can wear to work on Monday, to a family Raksha Bandhan on Saturday, and to a coffee meet-up on Sunday, all from the same shelf.
What Makes a Printed Saree Different From a Hand Block Print
Printed sarees and hand block prints are two different worlds, even though both fall under "prints." Hand block sarees — like the Bagru pieces in our Cotton collection or the Ajrakh sarees in our Modal Silk range — are stamped by hand, one motif at a time, using natural dyes and carved wooden blocks. Every piece is slightly unique. Printed sarees in this collection, on the other hand, are crafted using digital printing technology — high-resolution inkjet machines that transfer detailed designs directly onto fabric. The result is sharper detail, brighter color, faster production, and lower pricing. Both have their place. This collection is for when you want the design variety and affordability that only modern printing can deliver.
Three Print Worlds Inside One Collection
Our Printed Sarees collection is organized around three big print stories. Banarasi-Inspired Digital Prints bring the look of zari weaves and Banarasi motifs to lightweight fabrics — the festive grandeur of Banarasi without the weight or price tag. Kanjivaram-Inspired Digital Prints translate the South Indian temple-border aesthetic onto easy-to-drape synthetics — perfect for women who love the Kanjivaram look but want everyday wearability. Floral and Heritage Digital Prints offer modern florals, abstract motifs, and heritage-inspired designs in soft silk and chiffon — the most versatile pieces for office and casual ethnic wear. Some of our pieces also feature Shimmer Chiffon finishes for evening dressing.
Fabrics Built for Easy Wearing
You'll find three main fabrics in this collection, each chosen for drape and comfort: Synthetic — lightweight, vibrant color hold, easy to maintain, the most affordable option; Cotton Silk — a blend that gives you the breathability of cotton with a subtle silk sheen; and Soft Silk — gentle fall, lightweight, takes prints beautifully. None of these fabrics need special care — most can be hand washed at home, all drape easily without the structural stiffness of pure silk, and all wear comfortably for long working hours. This is what makes them everyday sarees, not occasion-only pieces.
A Modern Color Palette for Modern Wardrobes
Walk through our Printed Sarees collection and you'll notice the colors look different from the rest of our store. Where our Bandhani and Gota Patti collections lean into traditional reds, royal blues, and emerald greens, our Printed Sarees palette is intentionally softer and more contemporary: champagne peach, ivory, dusty rose, sage green, lavender, mauve, coral, mint, turquoise, beige. These are colors that work in modern offices, blend with contemporary blouses, photograph beautifully in natural light, and don't feel "festive" when you're not at a festival. There's a place for the rich traditional palette — and a place for these softer, easier shades. This collection is the second.
Occasions These Sarees Were Made For
Printed sarees in our collection are designed for daily ethnic wear, office sarees (especially the Banarasi-inspired and Kanjivaram-inspired pieces with subtle zari borders), Raksha Bandhan (this is one of our top gifting categories — affordable, beautiful, in colors aunts and sisters love), casual ethnic days, work-from-home video meetings, family lunches and small gatherings, and as easy second sarees on travel or work trips. They're not the pieces you'll wear to a sangeet or wedding reception — for those, our Festive Celebration or Wedding Wear collections are better. They're the pieces you wear on the 300 other days of the year.
Why Buy Printed Sarees from Rang Rajasthani
We approach our Printed Sarees collection differently from our craft-led collections. Here, the goal isn't artisan heritage — it's variety, value, and consistent quality at honest prices. Every print we list has been checked for design clarity, color depth, and drape. Every fabric is genuine to its description — synthetic is honest synthetic, cotton silk is real cotton silk, soft silk is true soft silk, no misrepresentation. Our prices stay in the ₹1,050–₹1,650 range because everyday sarees should be approachable. With 70+ pieces and growing, this is the collection most of our customers return to after their first purchase.
