Art Silk Sarees

Art Silk is a broad category of man-made fabrics developed to recreate the visual language of silk through a polished surface, silk-inspired appearance, and varied draping behaviour.

Unlike natural silk, Art Silk should not be understood as a single fibre or one fixed weave. Different Art Silk fabrics can use different man-made fibres and constructions, which is why individual sarees may differ in sheen, fall, texture, and body.

Best suited for: weddings, festive occasions, traditional celebrations, and women looking for a silk-inspired appearance with a more accessible fabric construction.

Shimmer Tissue Sarees

Shimmer Tissue is defined primarily by its light-catching surface and luminous festive finish.

Why We No Longer Use "Synthetic" as the Fabric Identity

"Synthetic" is useful as a broad material classification, but it does not tell a customer enough about how a saree actually looks or behaves.

A chiffon-type fabric and a satin-based shimmer fabric can both be man-made, yet their:

Our collection therefore distinguishes between fabric identities rather than using "silk", "tissue", "chiffon", or "georgette" simply as visual descriptions.
