About This Collection
Rajputi Aari Tari Sarees from Rajasthan
Aari Tari work has been part of Rajasthan's textile tradition for generations. It first appeared on Rajputi poshak, and over time it found its place on sarees, lehenga chunni sets and poshak alike. Today it is still known simply as Rajputi work or Aari Tari work.
This collection brings together Rajputi Aari Tari sarees in red, rani, pink, peach, orange and soft pastel shades, made for everything from family functions to weddings and festive celebrations.
What Aari Tari Work Means in This Collection
- Aari: fine metal zari-thread embroidery worked onto the saree.
- Tari: delicate micro-sequin detailing that sits alongside the zari work.
Together they create a rich but refined surface, traditional in its motifs and festive in its sparkle.
Fabric
Aari Tari work can be done on many fabrics, including synthetic chiffon and georgette. The sarees here are pure diamond chiffon, light and fluid to drape, so the embroidery and sequins stay the focus without making the saree feel heavy.
Colours in This Collection
The palette leans towards the red family: bright red and ruby (rani), along with light pink and baby pink, peach and orange. A few soft pastel shades are included for quieter occasions.
Where You Can Wear Them
These are all-rounder sarees, suited to small family gatherings, weddings, receptions, festivals and pooja ceremonies. They are light enough to be comfortable for long hours and detailed enough to look special.
